Raised in a diplomatic family, Olivia grew up across South Korea, Gabon, France, South Africa, and the UK. She earned an MA in Governance and Public Policy summa cum laude from the University of Sheffield, aspiring to become an ambassador before choosing storytelling.

Her consulting work on David Scarpa’s script for Napoleon led to a mentorship with Scarpa and representation by Gersh.

 

She wrote Episodes 3 and 4 of Mami Wata, CANAL+’s award-winning psychological thriller, presented at Canneseries and officially selected for the Festival de la Fiction de La Rochelle.

 

Olivia is developing Poppy Bonaparte, a subversive biopic about Napoleon’s scandalous sister.

 

She is also adapting Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler for the Los Angeles stage, reframed through the lens of the father complex. Zoë Aja Moore is directing, and Samantha Robinson is starring.
